Interior TCM Acupuncture Clinic is devoted to high standards of patient care, treatment, education, needle techniques, and knowledge. We aspire to preserve healthy states and to strengthen people so they’re able to adapt to natural and unnatural changes occurring in the body.
We’re exceedingly lucky now to have legal access to Chinese Medicine. Over 30 years ago it was illegal to practice in North America. Time always has a way of shifting things.
In order to practice TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) one must be registered with the regulatory college in British Columbia, The College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) www.cchpbc.ca. The CCHPBC is just like the College of Physicians and Surgeons, it regulates all facets of practice under the legislated Health Professionals Act.
Acupuncturist (R.Ac.), Herbalist, (R.TCM.H), Practitioner (R.TCM.P), or Doctor of Traditional Chinese medicine (Dr.TCM) a practitioner must be registered with CCHPBC. See the link www.cchpbc.ca for the educational standards.
